Bugsy

Bugsy, BugBug, Bugaboo, Ugg, was a gem.  She had many opinions and was never afraid to express them.  Her eyes would tell you every emotion going through her head.  She loved to hang out on the couch or in bed but could also spend her entire day in the lake chasing toys.  Bug was my first AKC Champion and finished completely amateur-owner-handled, my first group placer, and my first UKC Best in Show.  She didn’t necessarily like the ring, but she did it for me because I asked…and always had her specific brand of beef hot dog on hand.  Bugsy gave me three small but incredibly special litters.  Her first litter, to Brit, produced Taxi and Wrigley.  I repeated that litter and she had three the next time around.  Her final litter was to Presto and I was blessed with my very special singleton, Bing Crosby.  Bug has passed on her sassy attitude and loving personality to her kids and grandkids.  I am so fortunate to have shared in her life and had her by my side.
